Wellbeing, Behaviour & Safeguarding

A caring community built on respect and accountability

Exceptional education flourishes where children feel safe, valued and understood. Our approach combines clear expectations with empathy, restorative guidance and shared responsibility among students, parents and the school.

A partnership with families

At admission, students and parents review and sign the Student Code of Conduct. It establishes transparent expectations for respect, honesty, responsibility, learning habits and relationships.

Guidance and counselling

Our Guidance and Counselling Unit supports students through the emotional and social demands of childhood and adolescence — proactive wellbeing education, confidential guidance, restorative dialogue and individual care planning where appropriate.

Positive and restorative discipline

When difficulties arise, we help students understand the impact of choices, accept responsibility, repair harm where possible and develop better decision-making. Serious or repeated misconduct is addressed through clear and proportionate procedures.

Campus security and monitoring

Controlled access procedures, trained personnel and CCTV monitoring in appropriate common and perimeter areas strengthen safety, deter misconduct and support fair investigation — managed in line with safeguarding and privacy requirements.

Zero tolerance for bullying

Physical, verbal and cyberbullying have no place at Brainpoint. Reports are addressed promptly, with priority given to the safety and wellbeing of the affected student. Appropriate intervention and accountability stop harmful behaviour and help prevent recurrence. Digital safeguarding — managed online environments, filtering and digital citizenship education — protects learners as they research, communicate and create online.
